Not much of an update, but a little has been done. Mostly waiting on the motor to get here. Here are pictures that John over at Modular Performance sent me...FYI - John is great. Emails updates and actually keeps you informed on the build progress.

Here are the pics he sent me:

- The old motor is completely ready to pull. Everything is off and just waiting for a cherry picker to yank it out

- I am sandblasting valve covers, water crossover, intake housing from supercharger that tb mounts to, intake manifold, fuel rails, etc and getting them ready for paint. Will be painting everything black. Going for a blackout on the inside to match the outside

- Got all the gauges mounted inside and waiting for the motor to be pulled so I can do all the wiring

- Got the gt500 pumps installed, but waiting to finish the BAP install

That is it for now.

Be careful blasting those valve covers. I picked up a used set that was already blasted and I knew I would be taking the baffles out to powder coat them. Here's what I found inside which would totally trash an engine if they were put on.

I let the person know who I got them from to never use that person to blast anything important again.

spill the good already.. I cant see anything more being done than a 5.4 swap in the car!

really beefed up 5.4??? 6.2? This isn't a new thing...there are some people on this board, although not many, and thats why im waiting till the end. Want to make sure everything goes smooth before I post it up.

Another small update 5/25

Decided Im going to 'murder' under the hood as well since my exterior is 99% murdered out.

-Painted ECU
-Painted alternator

-Taking valve covers and front cover to have a custom airbrush paint job

-still waiting to sandblast intake manifold, water crossover, cast intake housing, fuel rails, and other parts so I can black them out too. Can't wait till its all over!

But I might as well do it right now since I got everything in pieces
