In 1988, I got into so much trouble drag racing out at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia, and on the exchange in one year, that when I went to court, the Judge knew me on sight and by name. As he walked past me to get his Diet Pepsi before court, he goes, "You get caught driving too fast or fighting too much Tom?"
I had been busted doing 130 in a 1971 Nova SS racing a Camaro around the Spaghetti Junction merging onto 285N. I told the Judge I had also brought my enlistment paperwork for the Army. He got a big smile on his face, said, "To get rid of you, I'll pay your fines!!" He still fined me $500 though. And he didn't pay it either.
