Hi,
Anyone here have installed line locks on the mustang ? I just got mine install and working to but it seems my rear tends to swing to right side. I don't know if this is normal or not. Most of videos I've watch cars are staying straight. I install GMS dual solenoid line locks . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

easy test, lift the front end, lock the brakes, spin front wheels manually?

Does it just jump to the side at the onset or does she just kind of creep over that way during the duration of your burn out?

I have a dual set up and my car kicks to the left a little bit, but then holds there.

good question boss. I will try again friday and let u know. Another guy thinks my right side brake is not holding and thats why its swinging to the right...maybe i need to have shop take apart solenoid that holds right side brake pressure..

Where did you test it? Mine goes to the left on the street but wetting them and then a burnout at the strip it stays fairly straight.

And bleed the right side brake line and caliper again. You might have some air in there. That would cause an issue too but I think you would feel it all the time.

That will happen if you don't have enough tire speed. What gear do you do your burnouts in and what trans do you have? I have 4.10s and do burnouts in 2nd gear with my auto trans and line lock.

How fast do you get your tires spinning in 2nd?

I spin mine up to 60-65 in 3rd. Never felt they were getting quite hot enough in 2nd with 4.10's.

I don't know about MPH, but I get the rpms up to 5500 right away. I've just been worried that 3rd gear burnouts might be too much stress on the stock 5r55???? Maybe someone can comment on that (whether it matters in terms of longevity for this transmission). I'd rather use third like you do and maybe not rap the engine out so much.

The MT SS DRs don't need much of a burnout, especially after the first burnout of the day. But I don't have much power either. I see you are running QTPs. I used to run those on another car, and they liked more heat than the drag radials I run now.

Every car I've ever done a burnout in at too slow a tire speed will kick the rear end out to the right.
