Brake, turning, and hazard signals don't work correctly. Running lights do.

I am an amateur mechanic. And i know nothing really about eletrical work. But i have an issue that arised recently that my tail lights are having malfunctions. The running lights work fine but if i put my hazards or blinking on- a few lights are out or dim. When hazards are on, there's a few out, and when i use blinker, they're dim. Mind you, these are aftermarket lights, and i did have someone trying to splice the tail lights to a rear camera. (That didn't work.) I also have a front end mod where i have a bumper swap to the same year as mine GT. So I'm not sure if it's because of the splice, a fuse, or something more. A guide will greatly help, step by steps, and some photos.
Below I've provided photos of tail light splice spot, and the current tail light condition. I did try bringing it to a shop and they told me they've never seen this issue before and i never thought I'd turn to a website for questions. But since ford was gonna try to charge me 250$ per hr worth or diagnostics... i said hell nah, and here i am.

I would bet on human error or poor quality connections. The dimming of the lights leads me to believe you have a bad ground somewhere.

You're most likely correct, i accidentally once put a wire in the wrong area for my foglights, causing them not to work. I read the instructions wrong, doing it right made them work. It's just head scratching considering i didn't really alter anything in the rear. The only alterations i made was the splicing which was for a backup camera.

Its the aftermarket lights. Get a set of stockers, problem solved. Aftermarket lights are crap, no matter how good they look... for a while.
I really love my LEDs over the stock. But i think what i should try to do is replace them with the stockers i still have, if the issue still persists, that's atleast one variable solved

I'd look where the last fingers touched the car. You said someone tried to splice in for a backup camera. If they damaged the ground connection it would cause the problems you describe.
I have no patience for aftermarket LED lights both as a tech and the guy in the oncoming lane. They end up in the garbage or someone else's home if I have any say.

I actually replaced the tail lights and i believe it's because the guy who worked on them made one of the wires weak. It was a neutral wire. I'm not really sure if that goes along with the reverse lights but nonetheless it made everything wonky. Since I've replaced them, they operate just fine but I'm fixing to do a return because there was a defect on them . If i ever run into any issues again with lights like these, I'll personally post 'told me so,' as an admit to defeat and swap back to the stockies. The new lights seem sick. Minor cosmetic issues, but it's enough to have me send em back. Hopefully these last tail lights I'll get will be the final.
