Got some updated pics. Block looks real nice. Cant wait to get the goodies in it!
I must have it...any one have a proposed part number for it?
I thought block failures were isolated incidents?
Not with higher boost levels.
Don't be stingy w that block guys lol
I think in the grand scheme of things, this is an isolated event. I mean yeah there is some weakness on car with 800-1000 hp....if u wanna call the stock block letting go at that power level a weakness lol.

Block failures on the coyote are definitely not isolated. It's a reality unfortunately. Well tuned cars will definitely last longer, but those on the ragged edge are on borrowed time IMO.
Yeah, but if there is one area of a typical build you shouldn't have any concerns, its the block. Its the foundation of your build. If the block goes, it can take alot with it. Thats why I spent $2k on my A460 ford racing block. I wasn't going to build a $20K motor and wonder if the block could handle it or not.
The 3V block never failed, that I know about anyway--except for the tooth brush rods constantly trying to escape out the side.....
