But yes Jeff I do need to back off with the modding for awhile and take a vacation....

As for the house warming party it wont be until I find a nice place....I want a garage and all and finding a decent house for a good price is a little tough around here. But the economy is definitely helping me out lol.

Around march I plan on moving to a home and then I'll start saving for a vacation, I'll let you guys know when. Then you, your girl, matt and his girl (if hes got one), Tom etc....can head on out here for a BBQ or something. Tom will be providing all the booze.
Oh I thought you had bought a place already. I wish I didnt buy my place years ago...its basically worth what I paid for it.:mad2:

Matt does have a GF and I think she just turned 18 so he can now LEGALLY have relations her!:roflmao: Tom is engaged and I wouldn't count on him to bring any beer. Last time he was over I was feeding him pizza and drinks... He does however text me a few times a week asking what he should do to his car, where to get it, how much to spend, if its easy to install(for me...lol), etc etc...

I do, I have an apartment...but for what I pay for this apartment its damn near the cost of a house if not more....

Lol...good ole Tom we will get him wasted next time and make him buy a new shortblock, rear end, and upgrade his headunit on his centri.....then wait for him to get his CC bill. :roflmao:

Lots of heavy drinking on that trip...

And might I ask what it explains?lol

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I plan on switching to an ACT with an aluminum flyhweel.
Save a few more pennies and go McLeod, you wont be dissapointed. Next time we get together you can take mine for a ride and see how nice the RST is.

yeah I have thought about doing that.....did you use an 99-04 steel flywheel with your setup or did you buy the McLeod Flywheel?

Doesnt seem like it....the carrier has taken a beating and needs to be upgraded. Im acutally surprised it has lasted as long as it has. The internal spider gears and loose and you can move them with your fingers....not good, and Im guessing it has been the source on my extensive rear end chatter.

Im gonna upgraded to a differential with carbon discs stated above in one of the posts, also my Spec Stage I is slipping already, so thats another issue.....one thing Im good for is testing durabilitly of parts...the OEM differential and rear has passed with flying colors and has taken 32,000 miles of a beating including extensive track passes, street racing, and wear and tear without any issues. I think the extra boost from the 4.56s being added did them in.

As for the Spec Stage I, it has about 10,000 miles on it and is starting to fail. None of the miles in which the car was boosted. Not too impressed with it.

You might consider going with the Exedy Clutch this next time.
I had the Spec Stage 2+ and their flywheel.
But a Busted Hydraulic Clutch Servo covered them and that is when I went with the Exedy.
And the Lightened Steel Exedy Flywheel.

I have a lot of miles on it now and it works Great.
I also changed this out at the same time.
You might want to consider doing it at the same time.

The steel clutch line is on my list. I'll look into the Exedy Clutches in the spring.

Just a suggestion and something to look and consider when you get ready for it.

tigerhonaker

Thanks, I will definitely look into that clutch when the time comes.

***Update***

Rear end is being pulled out of the car this week to inspect and seeing what is going on back there. Getting alot of noise from the rear, like a grinding sound. Im guessing the bearings are bad, or something loosened up. Im really hoping there isnt a mess when I open it up, but we will see. I will have updates later on in the week.

I have been there myself with rear end more than once.
