I prefer to do everything myself. Saves money and I like the learning experience.
I think it is great that you can wrench for yourself.
My car has gotten way past any of my talent.
And you are right it saves a ton on Labor Cost when one can do things for themself.

Yeah it's good to know how everything works, but I would have rather not taken the car apart so much, it's cost me alot of money to build and fix it. But hey shit happens.

Just finished putting the rear end back together tonight..... Hopefully will have it back in the car by next week, and button a few more things up.

Sorry nothing to exciting going at the moment haha. Been busy with work.

ive had my motive 4.10 setup for 73k miles now. no problems...

and i am pretty sure that the ford racing gears are made by motive.

Yeah the ring and pinion had nothing to due with the issues and why I pulled it back apart. It was a bad pinion bearing and race. Not to mention the pinion depth was a little off

Me, my buddy Joey, and my old man finishined putting the Putting the car back together tonight... Took it for a test run and everything seems to be running good. The gears love to whine that's for sure.
But glad to have the car back up and running.

I have a couple pics, I can take a few more.

What sucks is that the snow finally melted around here and the car can be driven but they are calling for snow the next 10 days
