Bypass valve

    How can i properly test my bypass valve?

    Should it be under vacuum while idling?

    You can test it for operation using a brake bleeder but that won't necessarily tell you if it's actuating at the correct values. (Not sure what those are for your application). Here's a couple of links that explain how they work and basic testing. The last one is kind of entertaining though very generic.

    I always just pull the vacuum line and see if the the valve closes.

    Im just trying to eliminate reasons on my im pushing only 6 psi when i should be pushing 9psi
