Idk if this is tech, and yes I have searched... Was wondering what I could do to regain traction while launching... I'm lowered on h&r springs, also have j&m upper and lower control arms and a j&m adjustable pan hard bar... Tires are 275/40/18 eagle f1... Would I need relocation brackets? I have zero vibrations in the driveline... Pinion angle seems to be correct... Idk what else to try... Maybe relo brackets and new tires?

Are you looking for better traction at the track or just in general on the street?

Relocation brackets are recommended for your lowered car regardless.

...and yes, you'll probably get flamed by some...

Relocation brackets plant the tires harder. But what is misunderstood about them is that planting the tires harder will make them spin MORE if the car doesn’t have enough tire to take the load.

Relo brackets shock the tire a lot harder. If you have big fat tires or drag radials the tire will either absorb that shock loading.

Your 275 Eagles are likely to spin harder with relo brackets. Those tires aren’t very big for starters and not designed to favor straight line traction over lateral traction.

If you want to hook that thing up, especially on the track get some drag radials and relo brackets. Or at least some big fat non drag radials. You can fit 315’s under there without having to hack the car up.

So the relo brackets will help, but won't that throw the geometry of the rear off? It seems like the upper and lower are parallel... I come from a rock crawling world, and my jeeps uppers and lowers were parallel... Idk but ill take y'all's advice...

I run the 275/50/17 m&h drag radials on my stock wheels. They hook awesome and I'm launching @5000-5500.

Do not get NT555R's, if you're going to go DR get the E/T Street Radial or the M&H Racemasters

Don't buy the Nittos unless you think you will be driving in the rain with the DRs. Otherwise M&H or M/T. But don't drive in the rain with those.
