Centri intake pipe heat

Anyone with a centri SC or even someone who might know what temperature the intake piping from the SC --> IC --> TB gets to? Need to do some filling on some of the pipes so I can get them into paint but if they dont reach a high temperature then I wont have to use a Metal Fill(since ive never used that before)

I have a procharger P1SC1 with the Stage 2 piping(snakes over to the passanger side from the IC rather than infront of the radiator). Havent installed it yet because I want to get this out of the way so I dont have to take off and put it back on again
I know Yur2slo painted his pipes but havent received a reply on his prep work for those so Im posting this for everyone

Just do it high temp, the engine bay can get 250-300 degrees in places.

I checked mine after making a pass yesterday. Pre-intercooler the temp was 182 degrees.

Where was that though? Like the pipe with the BOV or the snake pipe from the head unit? I have a Mach 1 heat extractor hood so that helps cool things down and get fresh air to the intake

Right out of the blower.

Iats are just a small factor, engine bay heat is going to effect your piping as well, most engine bay paints/enamals are rated to 300-500 degress.

Charge air temp when running may only be mid 100's, but after you shut the car off when it's hot, that pipe will soak up engine bay heat and can climb over 250 degrees.
