Anyone have one of these and welded it in? It's a bolt in piece but it looks like it will be better if it is welded in?

Yes, mine is welded.

We cut up the mounting flanges because my BMR reloc brackets were in the way, and welded it all up on both sides. The parts around the actual diff are still bolted though, obviously.

Mine is bolted in because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it or not. It was either keep it, or have the axle tubes welded and I just never got around to having the tubes welded. Been running it for probably a year maybe longer, never got around to welding it in, and it has never came loose or even attempted to move.

I have had mine bolted in and never an issue. When I was running the nitrous it layed down 520 rwtq. It was one of the best mods I ever did. Never had an issue with coming loose or moving.

I've been running mine for 3 years now and no issues. It even works with the Steeda Watts link.

Been running one for two years with no issues. Install was a bit of a challenge (had to widen a couple of holes on the brace).

Does this work with the BMR extreme
Anti-roll bar? or is there fitment issues?

Pretty sure the two won't work together. I was looking at getting the BMR piece from PMP and said something about already having the CHE Axle Brace and Kevin insinuated that it wouldn't work

I know this is an old thread but I think I have bent my passanger side axle tube. Got home from work yesterday and looking at the rear of my stang in the garage and noticed that the passanger side wheel is tilted in at the top. Checked it with a level compared to the driver's side and they are not equal.

I'm suprised that this happened at my low power level but I guess it's the nature of the beast. If it's just the tube, can that be fixed or would I be better off just getting a new rear from somewhere like newtakeoff? Either way, guess it's time to get the axle brace and tubes welded.

anyone notice with the CHE brace that the rear end becomes more harsh when you hit bumps in the road?

I bent my rear and replaced it with a take-off as well.
