Cheaper turbo set up's (sts, on3)

Guys I got boost fever. I am looking at many options, but I keep wondering about putting a turbo kit on my car. Sts or on3. I mean they are cheaper than a centri or roots. Okay I see sts kits on here, anyone run this kit the single turbo. My questions are how does the car sound with no mufflers, how good is this kit ( install easy) any boost lag? Any problems with the turbo being outback exposed? Okay I see on3 kits too front mount single. Is the sts just as good better or worse? I mean I saw a kit on here for 1500$ sts single? Is it worth the money? Looking for 440-480 relaible hp, my car is dd. Oh I do have frpp hotrods that might f it up?

Just comparing the two kits, the benifits and draw backs. Just looking at options to get boost. Sorry. Just want help and advice and suggestions, before I spend a wad of money.

On3 has been proven over and over if your going cheap that is the way to go. just curious...Have you searched anything on the STS kit?

I wouldnt have a sts kit personally. Entry level turbo the on3 kit seems to be the way to go.

That's why I asked I already got the quick answer I was looking for. Guess I will look into on3. I heard they got a 6wk back order? Are the hotrods a big no no? Or can it be done?

Anythign can be done with a good tuner, imho sell them and recoup some money. The turbo will make more than enough power with the stock cams for your stock block to try to handle.

From what I've read, the on3 would be a better kit on the cheap end. Since when is the STS kit cheap? From what I remember, it's expensive AND shitty.
