Hello boys and girls:
I have some Flowmaster Hushpower axel backs on my baby. No comments about my choice please.
Anyway, I don't know what I put on these things to make them turn color, but they are tarnishing pretty bad (bronze/gold tone). The only thing I've ever done to them was wash, dry, and one time (one time only) I put some wax on them when I first put them on.
I've tried some chrome polish (cheap shit from the local military store) but they just won't come back to life. I've had bike pipes turn this color before and was able to get most of it out with good ole polish and elbow greese...these however are being pretty stuborn.
You guys got any ideas? I appreciate any and all tips (no pun intended) that you can throw my way. Thanks!
