clear coat etching

Bird dropping etched my clear coat. It wasn't even left on there a full day and it was enough to do it.

Detailer isn't helping so what is the most appropriate thing to try next?

I have scratch x 2.0 and a clay bar to choose from.

Clay and some solution. I use this formula for bird shit.

3 cups water, 1/2 cup vinegar, and about 2 oz of a soap of your choice. Put in a spray bottle and shake. Works well.

Either that or break out the buffer and compound.

ScratchX should remove it if claying doesn't...

Just an FYI vinegar will remove hard water spots from just about any surface. I mix it with windex for Windows and chrome wheels. Works wonders!

Your car has C'Quartz on it, make sit much easier to remove. CarPro Spotless. If that doesn't work, time to spot correct
