Is that the same as re-flashing or replacing the PCM?

Before you take it apart you need to check the transmission synchronizers, if they’re bad you’ll need to go inside the transmission.

You need to replace the flywheel, clutch assembly, slave cylinder, slave cylinder tube, pilot bearing, clutch and flywheel bolts. (You can’t reuse the old flywheel)

When you replace the trans fluid upgrade to Mobil-1. I called Tremec tech support and they recommended it as an upgrade. I noticed smoother shifting with Mobil-1.

You will also need a PCM reflash from the dealer with IDS release 65.07 or higher.

If you have any extra $$, add a MGW shifter while it’s apart and you won’t regret it.
