If it wasn't for the rod length being longer this would be very tempting if it's a direct fit. Looking forward to seeing some reviews as this gets put to use. I wonder what the full pedal travel increases to with that Master Cylinder? And with the extra throw and fluid being pushed at the Slave, is there any potential of damaging the slave?

The length when both fully pulled out is the same, only difference I found was when they are both pushed in. Which dosnt appear to be a issue?

I read a thread awhile back on a different forum where someone had claimed his mechanic thought the rod was travelling too far.

I believe the thought was over extending the fingers of of the clutch diaphragm.

Any way he installed a small stopper and all went well?

I took the car for another short drive last night in the rain, Feels Good.

Hopefully I can get some real time behind the wheel and give some valuable feedback.

Is there any backing up to the newer model master cylinders pushing more fluid?

Bringing this thread back up. Getting ready to do some drivetrain work, going to yank the centerforce POS out of my car and use it for target practice. Also doing the JPC line upgrade.

Any updates on the '13 master cylinder? Who has one installed in their 05-10? Working out well? Issues? Any modifications needed to install? Was it ever determined whether the PP was being pushed too far with the newer MS?

I installed one on my 2007, no modifications needed. I have not driven the car so I can't tell you how well it works yet.

Far as I know, Hamish has had his in for awhile and no issues.

Installed mine, clutch releases much faster, trans shifts better at high rpm. I will admit that some times I get lazy and don't push the clutch in all the way. That is no longer a problem.

Good to know. That was the effect I was hoping for. Should make power shifting easier. Can't wait to get mine installed.

so far so good, after not driving the car for 6 months it is hard to make a comparison, but shifts like normal!

Installed mine and then some. I'll do a better review later, but such a huge difference in a positive way. Highly recommend this master cylinder.

What does this part cost? What slave would be recommended in conjunction with this master cylinder and an '11 6060?

Slave will depend on your clutch, most aftermarket clutches will use the older slave. Only clutch I know of that would use the newer shorter slave is a OEM gt500 10+ clutch.

Masters cost about $100 for both newer and older.
