FWIW, There are 6 different rear springs for the coupes. 2 of the sets are GT500 specific, the other 4 sets don't say what they are. They're only identified by color bands, and part numbers. It doesn't list ratings, or applications.

5R3Z-5560-A
5R3Z-5560-BA
5R3Z-5560-CA
5R3Z-5560-DA
7R3Z-5560-J GT500
7R3Z-5560-L GT500

Those are all rear spring options on coupes only. There are more for the converts. The CJ springs could be any one of the first 4.

I put them on my car and have not tried them.

They are softer.

I only installed the rear.

I know of a friend who put them in at the track in 30 mins...and went fron a 1.55 60 ft to a 1.45 60 ft on the next run.

There is a member on the board here ( who I wont mention unless he wants it out there) who put them on and, again, cut 10th off...He has 2 witnesses.

V6 or not V6 have always been the shit for D/R on ANY mustang...U pic the year...

Most importantly...Sutton high performance has the bitches for $59 for all 4. I would not pull them out of a trash can for that price. Everyone should buy a set and just sit on them..lol

I know of another person that also picked up a tenth when switching to these springs (rear only).

Thanks for the link GI JOE---I just ordered mine!!! $59.99 is a fricken steal. Dave--I heard these springs also lower the car a little vs stock, is that true? The car that I know of that made the switch looks like it, about an inch or so vs stock.

Well thats real interesting...because as you know my car was already lowered...originally with Steeda sports, then later I removed the rears ( left the sport fronts in) and, in order to facilitate the perfect look with my 20" wheels I ended up with a 14" atco spring #150. I picked #150 because the steeda sports were #175 and about 12.5" high and so I thought a softer spring but taller would work out and it worked perfect.
Well it turns out the CJ spring is ( wanna guess how tall?)
...exactly 14". Well it was known that the 14" #150 lowered the car 9/10ths ". I put these in and it settled to about 1.1" So I'm doing my (real scientific) guess here and betting the rear is 125-135#. It looks and set alot like the ATCO spring did and I'm willing to bet that the car was alot closer to the CJ spring than I thought...but I'm guessing its still a bit softer.
The thing is you can overcome alot of that ( if you are not careful) with the adjustable shocks.
Anyway they are 14" exactly.
I can tell you this too. Since I already run that height spring and I already run the same height tire ( big ass) as you in the front you dont have to worry about the car being over instant center. ( well at least mine is not with the 1" front drop) I still have a couple inches rake allowing good weight transfer...
I told you I cut 1.49 and a lot of 1.52 on D/Rs 2 weeks ago....
BTW the fronts are stupid soft...LOL funny...I can press them down with my hands... I did not install the fronts

Here you see I have a 28" rear..

Was it that easy? I remember doing my swap and it took forever... probably because I was a no talent pu$$... but i digress. Your buddy that cut that awesome 60' does he have QA1 adjustable shocks or stockers?

The actual number on the springs will be different than the Ford part numbers I listed above.

Engineering# 5R33-5560-CC is what should be on the spring for it to cross over to 5R3Z-5560-CA.

Whats the CJ´s strut/shock combo ? are they normal GT´s?
Good question... anyone?

fwiw, I checked with a take off parts reseller about the V6 seats which feature in the CJ, he reckoned they are no lighter than the V8 electric seats which surprised me...
