Code P0171 thrown

I went out for a ride today and my check engine light came on. So I trurned around and came home. The code came up as P0171 system to lean (b1).. I returned it to stock and redown load the tune. Started the stang back up and the light didn't come back on. I have not drove it yet but how could i fix this problem?

What did you install and then remove?

Everytime you reload a tune it clears all the dtc and data. So yes it would not still be there you would have to drive it some more to try and throw the code again.

Vaccum leak, check clamps on your air intake.

I had a 93 octane tune, JLT CAI with O/R H pipe tune... That's what I took off and re-installed so will it hurt the car?

No you just reset everything go drive and see if it comes back as said check everything and make sure u have no vac leaks which can cause those lean codes.

OK I just went for a ride and so far the car didn't throw the code.

Sometimes it can take awhile for the code unless it was a really bad vac leak, might as well check all the hoses and intake and make sure everythings tight and you should be good to go.
