Just wondering, is there a list of failures as to what doesn't fit for common 15" drag wheels?

I've got a set of centerline 15x8 telstars with 5.5 backspacing that survived my garage fire (with a lot of cleaning needed), they definitely don't clear the sway bar but I don't want to hack off the sway bar and relocate it only to find these wheels won't work. If not, I'll try relocating the sway bar and report back.

totally understand how the offset washers allow them to make 1 wheel fit multiple patterns but i have 2 things to say to that.

1: We want these cuz u dont haveto run spacers. Washers on the lugs worry me just as much as running a spacer

2: A common complaint to greg weld was those washers kill themselves every time you take off the lugnuts so buy like 50 of them.

Centerline Telstars will NOT fit the 05 up mustang. If you look at the rear of the wheel there is a lip and it will hit the brakes in the rear. They would fit it you ran a spacer or something. I have a set of Telstars on my race car and I pulled them on of it and tried. So I know they won't fit. Unless you run a spacer or something and I wouldn't trust a spacer in the rear if you are wanting to race it.

Damn, I guess I'll clean them up and put them in the Buy & Sell..
Time to look for some 17's and make it easy on myself.
Thanks for the info though!

You guys PM me if you're interested in the Race Stars. Talked with them at PRI and managed to work some good pricing out for a dealer/sponsorship deal.

PM sent US1. I just got off the phone with them right before I saw this post. WHat kind of discount did they tell you. They offered me a 10% discount because I am local and can pick up at their shop. That also saves a lot on shipping.

You can run the 15" Jegs wheels. On page 24 is my car with them on it.

The washers were redesigned after the company acquisition. This was noted as a design problem and has been fixed. Bottom line...the 8" rears and the 3.75" fronts fit with NO GRINDING or SPACERS. The 10" rears will naturally require the sway bar relocation brackets or removal of the rear sway bar. Again...NO GRINDING or SPACERS. Beau can add this to the front page if necessary. I can provide the part numbers if necessary.

  • JEGS SPORT STAR CAST WHEELS

    Front : 15x4 W/ 1.75 BS , PN: 555-67051 , 3/8" Spacer ,PN: 555-65051
Rear : 15x8 W/ 5.5 BS , PN: 555-67077 ,NO Spacers , NO Relocated Swaybar , both front and rear use factory length studs and stock conical style lugnuts

What do these wheels weigh? Also what tires are people putting on the front? I'm trying to decide between bias ply and radials.

I read in one of the Racestar posts the 17's should be out in the March time frame.

I don't remeber exactly but all 4 (15x4 and 15x8) with ET Streets (not the radials) and 165R15 (frts) weighed ONLY as much as 2 of my 18's with tires. So a pretty good drop in weight.

I saw some on a black mustang. Man they look good. Soory I didn't have a camera with me. I will see if I can find out who he was and get a picture. He had 15x10's rear and 15x3.75 fronts. He had 325x50x15 DR on the rear. It was BADA$$!!!!

yeah the 325's fit we just have to cut a bracket off in the wheel well. my plan was to get them mounted today but since nc is covered in snow it was a no go. might have to try tomorrow.
