Combined 15" wheel Fitment Thread

as the first post says no spacers for these "Rear : 15x8 W/ 5.5 BS , PN: 555-67077 " (They're the jegs sport star cast wheels). I have these and needed 1/2 inch spacers. I also had to make the calipers a bit "skinnier."

Has anyone installed 15x8 Summit Fast-Five wheels on a 2011+ GT? If so, were there any grinding or spacers needed to clear the rear brakes?

JEGS Sport Star II 15x8 5.5bs does not fit a 2011+ due to caliper clearance. You would need to get longer studs and about a 1/2 spacer. Grinding on brake calipers is never an option for me.

Update. I'm going to just take a trip to Summit and see their rims in person. Maybe I can figure something out with them. There are several 5866PS rims on their website that "may" fit.

What tires are you guys using for a 15x10" rim? I think I am going with Mickey Thompson's drag radial. I also want to shorten the height of the rear. Right now with my 18" Steeda's, with a 305/40 18" Nitto DR, they are 28" tall. I want to be around 27" with a 15x10" rim. Any suggestions?

UPDATE: Summit Racing Fast Five(Prostar knockoffs) 15X8 wheels do not fit 2011+ due to caliper clearance. You need either a 1/8" spacer and grind down the caliper face a little or 1/4 spacer to make them clear the caliper.

Perhaps they should be added? If we're going to have a sticky thread with the 'combined 15" wheel fitment' info in the first post then Race Stars should be in that first post. Otherwise replace this sticky thread with a new thread which is up to date. Or should new members have to search through 700 posts in this thread to find info on Race Stars?

I have 15x10 Race Star rear wheels with 325/50/15 MT dr's on them. this is on my 2007 GT. Fit's like a glove!!

weld prostar 15x8 w/ 5.5" bs do not fit on a 2011. not even close for the caliper clearance to where the spokes meet the rim

I know this is a kinda old thread but thought i'd try anyway---------I would like to know if this wheel would work on all 4 corners of my '10 V6. It is the jegs sport star 555-67077 in the 15x8 with 5.5 backspace. I'm wanting to go to 15s so i can run white letter tires (for the nostalgic look) Thought I'd ask you guys about the fitment issue first. Thanks

I am hoping this is the right spot to post this, sorry if it is not.

I am wanting to know about 15" wheel fitment for a 2013...I don't trust any wheel shops near me, and I need to know what will fit so I can look for a pair of used/cheaper rims that fit my needs. Also, I need to know what will fit if 15s won't.
