That's not THAT high. Supras and Evos can take similar boost. Hell, a buddy of mine has a little 1.6 or 1.8 liter VW that runs higher boost.

I remember a local supra guy being on e85 on a big single with a stock bottom end at over 40. And DSM/Evo guys are always chasing records, so they throw dumb boost to try to get just a little more power.

If you look up the "Max-4 Integra," they have 55 psi on Nitrometh making ~4,000hp. I was also reading around some guys have tried 100+psi, but needing to weld the heads and other components to make it work.
