Couple vids of me running against my buddy in his built Challenger...

first run beat him by .6821, second run only by .2010. Love hearing the whine in the first one, but you can also hear me spinning thru 1st His reaction time in first run was bad, .8388 compared to my .3242. The second run I had a .3519 and he had .3630, and much closer race.

Second time to the track, great fun. Would like to have some drag radials before next time to try.

340, 440, 426?? single 4, six pack, dual 4's?? Beautiful car.

I like close races like the second one. That makes drag racing fun vs racing honda's or other b.s. I can't wait to run into a camaro, challenger, whatever.

It is a sweet car, he is a huge Mopar guy..... kinda sad LOL. He finished it about 7 years ago, has a second engine in it which is:

small block bored & stroked to 415 cu in. 6 pak, Indy/Edelbrock aluminum heads, headers, 3000 stall converter, 3.55 rear gear

He redid a early 70's GTX, sold it for 30k or so I think, and now is in process of rebuilding another early 70's mopar, forget right now what.... never followed em back then and don't know like I know the Chevy / Fords. He does nice work on them though, will give him that.

Yep, totally agree. That and I don't care to run against 10 second cars, takes the fun out of it a bit. Like the close ones win or lose. specially fun going up with someone you know
