custom paint

I am getting ready to take the car in to get the paint fixed (few small dings)... I was thinking about getting some custom painting done, and so I was wondering what you guys have thought about doing. I don't want racing stripes cause they are too popular, I was thinking about a second color from the body line below the door (kind of like the foose styles that have been done on other cars). But once again that is his thing and I want something different. What do you all think and lets here some of your ideas for custom paint?

Ghost pearlescent flames

or flat black

OR instead of stickers, have them airbrushed on the fenders that would make it hella fast!

Ummmmm no stickers here other than the ones Kimmer just sent. I will look into the flamage and see what it may look like.

You think you get pissed when your solid color car gets dinged and chipped, just wait until you have to start finding someone that says they can fix/re-do a custom paint job.

I really like the two tone look Foose does on some of his where the upper half of the car is different than the bottom half. I also just like a clean one color look with some chrome bling here and there.

Ok I am down to just leaving it the alloy blacked out, or the foose look. What color combo do you guys like with the alloy color for the foose look?

I will not argue with what was stated above....when you go custom getting it fixed hurts....it is also a PITA when you decide..."hey I like that aftermarket hood"... lol

I was not worried about it personally. My father in law is the Autobody Professor at Idaho State University and his paint work is simply amazing. When it is time I will let him borrow the car for a while, lol.

Ya the body and other parts that will go on it are going to be purchased before hand. After that it won't change cause it will be the look I want.

.. i did some custom paint.. i painted my mirrors to match paint of course and painted my rear emblem in the rear to match my paint but leave the GT symbol.. alotta compliments on those SMALL things . IMO fix up ur small chips etc.. and do thsoe 2 things and mayb any other small things along those lines.. if u go drastic and dont like it... its not gonna be able to b echanged without lotsa cash monies ! my input on it hah

Alot of people paint the roof line a different color, I was thinking about doing it to my car with black but I changed my mind.
