dataloging help!

Ok so I started the car for the first time today since the s/c install and I was going to datalog with Lito but I can't seem to get my livelink to work. I had livelink 6.3 so I went ahead and updated it to 6.5 to see if it helped and it didn't.
The problem is when I click the "begin datalog" button it says "Handheld Device Initialization Failed!"

I have checked the USB connections and the OBDII port connection and everything is fine, i have restarted it and everything and can't seem to get this figured out!

Anyone have any ideas???

Turn the computer off. Have everything hooked up. Then turn the computer on. Evertime I would unhook rebook anything this is what I would have to do

No problem . Lito remote tuned mine Friday. I have. Otho g but good things to say about him.

If live link still fails, I would uninstall it the. Reinstall it

like the firmware or what? hasn't been updated since I got the tuner which was like 2 years ago

Does your sct device power up when it is hook to the computer only?

Does the sct device ever say "CAN activated" or something like that when you are all hooked up to everything...

Also, did lito send you a configuration file to open in livelink? You are opening the config file and not the tune, correct?

It never says that, that I am aware of. Yes I am opening the configuration file in livelink with the key on and then I start the car and press begin datalog button and after a second it says device initialization failed.

I always hook everything up then open livelink. Open livelink config and when it asks to connect to vechicle ecu, then I turn the key on and click okay. The screen should change on your sct device if everything is communicating properly.

Remember the .cf3 files are the config files

Yeah he only sent two files and the tune has my name in it so I'm sure I'm using the right config file.

You may need to update the sct device. Lito had me update my device before using livewire 6.5.
