Chain of events: car runs 11.1-11.27 @ 122, 1.57-1.62 60' late fall after updated tune, 6pt. rollbar installed (offset 90# by race seat, deleting rear seat, BMR K-member, A-arms & radiator support delete), the next spring run car on street for a month with no issues, then early spring 4 passes @ 1/4 mile track 11.3-11.4 @122, mid 1.6 60', no issues. Return from track & don't drive car for a week due to weather. Braille race battery is now dead, charge & put OEM battery in. Now car has lost touchy throttle response & giving it same throttle the car feels like it's spinning, doesn't get up & go, like before.

Things done to try & resolve issue:
Reload tune, loaded old tune (before there was a noticeable power/throttle difference-now very little difference), recalibrated gas pedal, clean MAF & throttle body, replaced fuel filter & air filter, no thrown codes, replaced OEM differential with Detroit Trutrac, differential cover & new 3:73's, tested TPS(throttle position sensor)=within specs of 1.19-1.31, new spark plugs, changed S/C belt & upgraded to Thumprr tensioner, Compression test(all within 10%), Cylinder Leak Down Test(cylinder #5 was at 13%-slight leak past seal, all others 2-8%), Seafoam in gas tank.

Installed Performance Automatic 5R55S(has upgraded bands, clutches & hardened input shaft), 3-3,200 Circle D converter, Shaftmasters D/S, new Whipple CAI filter. Car now runs 11.35-11.4 low 1.6 60's (15 passes total- 3 separate days), no improvement in times? Car dynoed @ 460hp/431tq

What should be tried now?

Weather? Cool, dense Fall air vs. hot, humid Summer air.

Do you have access to a datalogger? If so, you can monitor the transmission performance to see if the converter is slipping or not locked. The datalog will also help to improve the shift points. (The converter locks right after a shift is completed or is it unlocked for a little while?).

Weather is very similar for comparison = Cool fall, Cool spring. I've been data logging with my tuner & he says my logs look fine. Converter locks up right after shifts. However Circle D says times should have dropped & not stayed the same, MPH should have stayed same or increased, actually dropped after converter.
