Do I need a panhard bar brace?

Do I really need the panhard bar brace? I have a heavy duty BMR adj panhard bar. My pypes mid-muffler system rubs on the brace and there is no way to get it up higher to clear. Can I just remove it or is that not reccomended? Thanks, Jared

just for rubbing issues? i wouldnt think so? i have the same rod as you and no brace and i have no issues.

First i've herd of it rubbing. I have the bassani axle with the BMR brace with no issues
