I am not sure what your end goal is with your car but you could run Ethanol. In the dead of summer I see about 180 at the end of a run with around 25lbs of boost but I don't pull any timing. Last year I would run about 17 at peak torque and as the torque decreased I would end up with about 27 degrees of spark. The problem with Ethanol is the need for additional volume. I wouldn't run E85 I would run straight Ethanol if you really want to push your car.

It is just a thought but it is much more simple that an air to water and dealing with ice.

because of the trouble with ice and all I have given up on the idea...just over the weekend lol. I have been reading on the e85. I currently have a return system and 3 walbro 255's I believe all else I need is injectors. Not sure if my lines are ok. I have earls pro flex lines. I have 80 injectors so I was wondering would the 105 new ones be big enough..800 rwhp. Friggin e85 is cheap...geeeez. I guess I could run 93 on the street anf e85 or straight eth on race with a flash tune.
Some people are making alot of power on e85. How much boost can you run on that stuff? Isn't it like 115 Motor octane

I am not sure if the line would work but I would think so. The 80's at 60lbs of fuel pressure should get you to 800rwhp. The only concern I always had with E85 is what does that 15% consist of? I started purchasing E98 and mixed it myself with pump 93 making it E85 but then eventually switched over to running E98. The last batch I bought was 2.25 a gallon and you would use double the quantity but at 4.50 a gallon it is way cheaper than C16.

I know John can add what he has ran with E85 but with the E98 I have ran 28lbs of boost with lots of timing. I had the engine apart earlier this year and I saw no signs of detonation. I don't know what the limit of it is but I have yet to find it and don't plan to. I am happy with my car as it sits and really don't see the need to push it any further. I can't race it legally under 10.00 and don't plan to and it is way too much power for the street.

Yes I hear stories of guys going to the e85 stations and testing their fuel in a sample before purchasing and then there is the winter summer blend issues...
So do you buy it at like VP and have it shipped to you or can you buy that at a pump sometwhere?
I was thinking running the new 105 injector

I get it from a local fuel distributor. I know Rockett sells a E85 blend.

I saw that injector and it should really help over the 80's.
