Does a Throttle Body Spacer Really Work???

Can a throttle body spacer really improve HP and TQ???

Does a 1" spacer between the throttle body and the intake manifold really make a difference in air flow???

Or is this product just a bunch of hype???

Give me your opinions, please...

though i'm absolutely convinced they're a waste of money on the 3V engine, i've always wished to see a dyno sheet proving any gain (or loss) for that matter, from a manufacturer or a supplier (like Steeda for instance)

i live my life a quarter mile at a time and i have 3 TB spacers stacked up to give my car an extra 15 HP!!

Don't some people need them to run certain throttle with certain setups? I can't remember the setup though... Obviously the spacer itself isn't a HP mod.

I put a Velocity Stack on my Bimmer. Fucking thing would invert a circumcision!!! Loved it some much I got a Double Stack. . . BLAM!!

Once I put my cage in, I had to cut some weight to make up for it. So, I cut out all the floor boards. That way, from the outside of the car, it still looks cool.

Next, I'm going to change my gears to 2.02's. I'll loose some take off acceleration, but (according to general opinion-reversed) I should gain about 150 MPH on my top end.

According to the ihra rule book, motorcycles don't need roll cages, or half of the expensive safety stuff us car guys gotta buy, so I'm gonna build a motorcycle frame that will be a direct fit for our motors! Kill two birds with one stone, take off a bunch a weight, and lose a bunch of safety rules. Plus I'm gonna add the ultra high performance muffler bearings, and of course the o-pipe, and maybe even a throttle body spacer! It should run like four seconds in the quarter with a tb spacer! I'll post pics when I'm done.

Better leave off the TBS, that's just pushing it too far. You do have to be able to stop at the end of the track you know
