Drag radials

okay, i have a set of 305/35/18 Nitto Drag Radials... anybody know i they will fit on a 8.5 wide wheel? i also have 2 GT500 stockers... not sure if they are wider than the 8.5" wheels i have on there...

The stock GT500's are 9.5 in. wide.

GT500 - Wheels as mentioned are 9.5 (at least the rears I know of for sure) on that size you can use the 305s

well, i have been thinking of cutting the 8.5's and making them an inch wider... kinda worried about backspacing then tho...

oh, i thought backspacing was measured from the inside lip of the rim to the outside of the hub...

I have a buddy had his 20s widened to 10.5" IIRC and he was ok

oh okay, i think these are +45 but i am gonna check and see what they are exactly... thanks for the help...

The most backspacing you want is about 7 1/4 inches anything more that that and you start running into clearance problems.
