lol, if it doesn't get stolen in the morning at school....They actually made the numbers pull in 4th gear. The way it was explained to me was they didn't want to heat soak the supercharger that is why it was done in 3rd.
Ok so on your car they tuned in 3rd and made the #s pull in 4th . Now that makes sence but the OP was handed a dyno sheet in 3rd wich makes the shop that tuned it look bad with the low numbers so I dont see wy they would do that. Hell mabe Roper is right and they dont know any better.

My original kb was 417 rwhp and 400 tq. on 8 psi. Yours does seem low:idea:

I made 465rwhp on my 8psi KB in 4th on a 2.4L. i made 490rwhp on 10psi

they were making 3rd gear pulls to minimize the heat build up from a 15 second pull from 2500 rpm to 6500 rpm in 4th gear. It was more like 7-8 seconds to make the pull in 3rd gear. I have seen some shops do it like that and I have seen some make every pull in 4th and heat soak the car.

when ting the car it should be done 4th regardless. forget heat soak. if hes trying to minimize heatsoak to tune the car then what are you gonna do when you drive the car, mash the gas, pull over and shut the car off and wait? Heat soak is a GOOD thing when tuning because it'll silulate better street conditions abd timiin can be set properly

I would have thought the software would have fields were you could enter the gear ratio so dynoing in any gear would give equivalent numbers. Even if 4th is 1.0, there is also the final drive. Do they correct for that? as it varies
