Checked "Always notify me of replies:" - but not seeing any email after the "Welcome"

"Notify me when a reply is posted" is checked in the "post" page as well...

Is it "batched" and thus delayed or is something not working?

In the immortal words of Bevis and Butthead - "breakin' the law, breakin' the law"

grepping through my logs, it seems that the issue might be on my side (I think I am filtering them out).

I see emails with info like:
"from=<kkirkens>"
"msgid=<8febce85b4d8b5cbe7d803d77baecac9>"

I may be filtering them out (I don't look at the "msgid" field)- changing some rules to let them through - let's see what happens...

You know it - real men use unix... 8)

Ok - here's the problem:

to: "Undisclosed-recipients"

That's code for "spam" in my world...

I wrote a rule to keep them if they have s197forums in the msgid field - but that is why I was not getting them...

hmm, just posted in a new thread and now I get responses...

So, it appears just the threads I was subscribed to before the "great shift" are not sending me updates...

LOL, in all honesty, I have no idea what I changed. VB has the same settings in about 3 different spots, so if one is different, stuff doesn't work.

And they went poof again... :sick:

I wonder if they are getting queued up somewhere? (and coming out in lumps?)

I have seen other vB forums that do that (but then some do not)...

hmm, there's one that got through... very strange...
