kinda weird that no one here "likes" brenspeed tunes...ive always heard good things about their tune...either way im going to try a bama one and then a brenspeed on later and see wich one i like better.

I liked tunes Brenspeed wrote for my previous '05. With the latest round of upgrades to my '07 I went the dyno tune route at PSI this time. Very satisfied in both cases.

well on the noob forums every1 swears by bren. Either way doug @ bamachips updates your tunes for free while brenspeed you have to buy the part from him.

I Installed a ZEX system and ran 12.59 on a 125 shot bought from Brenspeed and with a tune from them. The car never felt right NA or with gas, nothing low in the revs. I went 'back' to Doug, he sent me a 100 tune, free, I then ran 12.53 with 25 less remember. )Im a noob with NOS and so Ill get down a bit more yet).

The car feels better all over. I like Brenspeed and have always appreciated their excellent parts distribution and good service BUT, they cannot be good at everything

For my '05, Doug could never get the tune right. I don't know if it's because we had an early Steeda intake or what... but no matter what, he could never get it right. Brenspeed was dead on.

That said, Doug hooked up a fantastic tune for my '07 that took .3 off my 1/4 compared to the tune from Brenspeed. And I'm confident that with a different intake and tune from Doug, my '05 would've been in the 12's.

Brenspeed is better than a canned tune from SCT, or even the tunes that come from Steeda (because I changed from the Steeda tune to Brenspeed and it was far better), but Doug definitely goes further into detail with his tunes. It shows by the fact that he tunes for performance, torque, and all out racing, instead of just a performance increase tune.

Don't get me wrong. Brenspeed has fantastic customer service, extremely fast shipping, and I'm sure does great dyno tunes. But for a email tune, I would choose Doug.
