Doesnt matter Darren. Blowfish is an innovator and will get a pass for terrible customer service. Like another vendor will after the last three days of drama...

Yes it was notchy before the bracket. The shifting now is hard to explain. I have the stock shifter and the shifts are so smooth and fast you almost doubt your actually in gear. It feels NOTHING like the car used to. It has to be experienced.

It's hard to actually describe how much better it actually is.

I'll try some turning shifts for you Mr.Q when I get back home this evening.

A review like that makes...............................

It's Monday. All shipping businesses are open and awaiting customers to walk in with their goods to be shipped to patiently awaiting individuals.

Anybody want to take a guess at what the flavor of excuse is going to be today??? IF we even get a reply of ANYKIND?????

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:whistling:

Darren, I notice that your tone is substantially different over on BMO. Almost as if you're hiding behind your keyboard and only lashing out like a little yapper dog while in your safe spot between your master's legs.

How long do you think any of us would last over there if we were provoked by a couple douchebags?? Even if we had just cause to choke the freakin crap out if them........not long.

Wanted to document my installation. I read through the instructions, crawled under my car, and promptly decided to do it completely backwards from the way described. No way in hell was I going to be able to work around the driveshaft and it's only 4 bolts to move it out of the way. Besides, I couldn't even see the bolts holding the heat shield in place, never mind the shifter.

I pulled the driveshaft out of the way and removed the heat shield from the MGW.

Then I removed the rear shifter mount and assembled the rear mount on to the BF upper bracket.

Then I stuck the rear shifter mount and upper bracket back on to the shifter.

IMG_2859.jpg

At this point I reattached the driveshaft. The driveshaft bolts will be inaccessible once the lower bracket is in place. Then I mounted the lower bracket.

Lastly was the 8 nuts and bolts attaching the upper and lower brackets. I installed 4 nuts and bolts barely snug but not tight, then got in the car to check the shifter height. It seems ok but I'll know for sure once I test drive it. Then I finished assembling the other four nuts and bolts and torquing them down. I'm concerned with how close the bolts are to the driveshaft. I definitely would not recommend this setup with a 4" aftermarket driveshaft as it will all but touch the bolts. With vibration I could see the bolts damaging the driveshaft.

All finished. As soon as the rain stops I'll get the car off the jack stands and take it for a test drive. Will report back later with my impressions.

They didn't take my bait tho...

I apologize for being a jerk over there. I really thought that guy Steve(BF Racing) was following that thread to reply to us that haven't received our tracking info. No where in the thread did it seem like it was "install and feedback only" so I took it as an attack when that idiot and his crooneys replied the way they did.

I thought The thread was a place to discuss the release, install, problems and shipping concerns of the bracket. Evidently they have thread police over there that feel the need to call people out. I just asked in a reply if Steve had any shipping info available to the ones that haven't receieved their bracket yet and a couple of girls decided to call me out. Kinda got my underwear twisted but I should be good now. Lol

Do you think flipping the nut/bolt around would gain any clearance?
