Well the time has already come... Clutch started slipping bad on saturday and I am going to go with the Exedy Stage 4 Mach 600 Clutch. Rated at 750 flywheel tq. Comes with the Throw out bearing/ slave cylinder for $580 shipped. Pretty hard to beat. Will I be okay with just a resurfaced flywheel? I really want to keep the weight of the Steel flywheel, thats just personal preference. I know a lot of aftermarket clutch companies recommend one way or another. Also any input on this clutch would be great as well. Wanted to do a McLeod but since this was so unexpected going to have to take a cheaper route. Also what fluid would be recommended? Ive read Mobil 1 ATF is pretty good stuff. Thanks!
Also kind of considering the Spec Stage 3+. If someone can sell me on it I may get it instead. Ive heard good things about the Spec 3+ and have used Exedy in the past but nothing this high powered
Edit: Also any tips on bleeding the slave would be helpful too. Ive read the 2005 do not have a bleeder valve. Ive never messed with anything with a hydraulic TOB
