2012Coyote
Fuggit.
Hey everyone, My name is Phil. I bought my 2012 GT in March off myself, and when I did, I had the Ford Dealer I sell for put the FRPP 1" springs and the SVT axlebacks on the stock axle-forward (?) so I could roll them into the payment and have them covered under warranty. A little history.
We just took a 2011 GT in on trade and it doesn't have cats. In fact it's essentially just a 3" straight pipe. The setup is Stainless works Long Tubes, a custom Y-pipe, going into a 3" resonator, and back to a single 3" straight through Magnaflow muffler with a 2010 V6 rear valence with the single outlet.
My deal is that the used car manager came up to me and said he needs the cats off my car instead of trying to find 3" cats and retro fit them to the current exhaust. I said I would, just for the SW headers. Not a fan of the single exhaust so I went to a local Mustang shop here seeing if he could make my stock 2.75" catback fit behind 3" headers. The problem is the first owner make the exhaust using V-clamp flanges, making it unable to use the ball flanges on my stock catback.
Here's the question: I want to keep the duals using my SVT mufflers. Is there any way to change the headers over and keep the duals? Or is there a catback system out there less the axleback (just midpipes) to use the SVT's I already paid for? Or am I just SOL? Thanks.

It won't hurt to have a set of long tubes for the next 12 months or so before it is available for sure though.
