This is an interesting thread! I use to think my old G6 GTP was fast. With a PCM tune it ran 14.5. I did run several people on the street and my 14.5 GTP was faster then 80-90 percent of the people on the street as a DD driver. So like mentioned if you are trying to compare fast to other DD, the mustang 5.0 would beat near 95 percent of people that try to line up on the street with you trying to cut you off in that right lane that ends in 500 feet.

For me, if I thought a 14.5 car was fast, am still not fully use to still my 420 HP 5.0. The mustang hits 100 so fast I have to be carefull not to lose my licence if I dont look at my speed lol. As the GT is at 100 when my G6 would be at 75-80 mph

On slicks, my 08 ran high 9's back when it was a DD. To be honest, it didn't seem fast. Back around 1995, I had a fair weather DD backhalfed Chevelle. It had a 871 blown 555 with a clutchless manual trans that ran in the mid 8's.
