Finally broke into the 5s @ 121+ mph

Well I tried for the first time tonight squeezing the car---starting very conservative at only a 150 shot with a very safe tune.

Good news is the car posted 121.21 mph in the 1/8th. Bad news is I screwed up at the tree and accidentally deep staged--which robbed about a 1/10th ET wise.

Here is a quick video of the pass---you can see me deep stage--then my attention was on some other stuff to make sure everything was right before I hit the transbrake--and they hit us with a Pro Light (we had been running 3 amber all night).

I raced my friends Nova--serious effort sbc with sheet metal manifold and twin dominators---car is awesome and runs in the 5.60s.

And yes, I was making a sandwich at the tree---but I wasn't too worried about the light as I wanted to make sure this first pass using the nitrous was done correctly.

With a more normal tune up--with the 200 shot, and not deep staging the car, I am sure I can hit 5.60s in the 1/8th as well. I was just a little chicken the first time out as I can not afford to screw this up--yeah know? I will sneak up on a good tune and time will tell.

Actually I was on the phone with technical service in India, we went through a pre-flight checklist before I was given the "ok to go".

Cars bookin it, 200 shot the biggest your planning to go, or will you eventually throw more at it?

The system is good for 400---I am sure eventually I will be 300+ but probably not until the cooler winter air arrives---and to just lay down a number. I will be consistently racing on the 200 at events and such, however.
