Finally Fixed

The last couple of months I’ve been chasing electrical gremlins and misfires under load.
I first fixed a bad ground to the MAF.
Lito then helped establish that the MAF that came with the Edelbrock SC was still working correctly after I spliced in new pigtail.
Today, I finally swapped out the brand new set of MSD COPs with a set from Amazon. Car is back to normal. Those MSD COPs weren’t worth a shit. Called their CS and told there would be a 45 minute wait as there were 8 ahead of me. I’ll try again tomorrow.

YUP! Not the first time I've heard this statement. I've also heard their CS is about the same quality.

I don’t drive it in the snow. I’ll probably wait until spring and get some Motorcraft COPs. At least it’s running now.

That's a hell of a deal...............fix a real issue only to find that a new part that you never expected is also a contributor as well.

This is a copy of your MY car's OEM genuine Ford full wiring diagrams............everything is covered (connectors, splices, location, modules, grounds, etc) for all 05 S197 Mustangs so you can have this on hand to assist in doing any future wiring diagnosis and\or repairs. Will save you a boatload of time, effort & lessen any collateral damage by pinpointing the specific areas in wire harnesses or chassis locations where stuff is so you don't have to be pulling your hair out.............the same manuals used by all Ford dealer techs.

Some are new, still in the plastic wrapping & some are used but in good condition so if looking at any of this check the descriptions if you desire a new, unopened manual.

I got myself a copy for my 09 Stang (from this EBay seller shown........came new in unopened wrapping) thus am passing this along for your consideration.

MSD cops and the 2 step are garbage. My 2step failed and then a 2nd and then a 3rd. I no longer use MSD.

I always thought MSD made good stuff.

They used to be no.1 for ignition components up to about 20 years ago.
Now MSD = My Spark Died
As far as coils go, OEM are the best. All the other brightly-coloured aftermarket units are mere engine bay eye candy.
