Went to the Muncie Indiana Dragway for their Wednesday night test and tune, have not been to a track since 1986-87. I managed to get in 5 passes, below is a copy of my times, I had fun, which is all that matters. Other than the obvious sleeping at the line, poor 60's, I had issue with the 1 tire burnout.

r/t = .511 .134 .205 .234 .414
60' = 2.025 2.238 2.232 2.082 2.087
1/8= 8.760 9.123 9.108 8.825 8.847
1/4 = 13.525 13.925 13.912 13.579 13.626
MPH = 103.08 102.57 102.44 103.34 102.75

Just goes to show, age doesn't matter!!! Yeah, it's a new-found fun thing to do.
Like I've been told: I may be a Grandfather, but I drive with the heart of a 20 year old!

Have fun, enjoy life!!! Getting to the track once in awhile really helps :)

Not to HiJack my own thread, but, whats the hot ticket for the suspention? Is adjustable lowers preferable to the adj upper or vice versa? Relocation brackets, a must or not, steeda ultralites and a adj panhard bar are my suspention mods to this point. I can see 4.10-4.30 gears after sorting the susp. thing out, and some sticky shoes too. Any more ideas ... greatly appreciated.

I had a great time. There was 3 other GTs there that caught my eye, all were 5 speed cars and none broke 14.0, the worst was a Shelby running 14.50's.(no idea how to drive his car) They run a trophy race around 9pm, I got mesmerized by the others lanes light coming down and slept to a .441 reaction time and got beat right off the bat. LOL still it was a blast after all these years. My friend managed 12.6's (all nite) on my old Harley Road Glide that he bought off me a couple of yrs back. Great Fun !!!
