First trip to the track in the 2014

ran an 8.55 @ 84.76mph at Jackson drag way in Jackson, tn on street tires there is more left in it but not without some drag radials. Best trap was 85.25 mph. bone stock 2014 gt 6spdmt 3.31 gears. Traction control off.



I'm in the right lane. Don't pay attention to my reaction time trying to lunch easy so I would'nt spin, almost hit the wall twice tonight due to sliding sideways. Had fun hurt an 98 supercharged cobras feelings.

Was your traction control on? With it on you'll get traction through first gear, if you launch at 1500, but you will need to baby 2nd as it will break traction enough for the gas to cut off

Not too bad. My first trip out I did [email protected]. That's with intake, tune, LCA's and some worn the hell out BFG KDW's in 275/35-19. Also had my 120lb tool box in the trunk and another 50lbs of various things and a 3/4 tank of gas. I was just goofing around really and was there for the car show and got called out. Smoked the guy too. But I had traction issues every time. My car tracks straight as hell even while spinning the rear tires.

I would not use traction control at the strip. I always turn mine off. Learn how to drive without the TC bullshit engaged.

traction control was off. leaving very easy I was able to hook decent but that and having to baby second is where im loosing time. first run of the night she went sideways from hell when I hit second. After that I started easing into second. I know I can pull alot better time if I could lunch it right and be able to hit second hard. I'll have some drag radials next time I go back.
