Finally got some ET streets for my car, going to the track this weekend for the 1st time in awhile. On the radials I had my window switch set to skip 1st gear. Now I am wanting to leave on the nitrous. What would you guys recommend I set the window switch to start spraying and stop spraying. This is an auto with stock TC, also how would you recommend launching.

REady to try and break into the 11's like this! Best was a 12.20 on a radial last year @ 114mph.

I probably wouldn't spray lower than 3500/4000 and spray up to about 100 rpm under your rev limit.

I spray out of the hole if I can hook, which I haven't been able to. I have my window switch setup to spray from 3k rpm until 6400 rpm with the limiter set at 7000rpm in the event of a spike. With no weight transfer, my 1/8th mile translates into a high 11.6, but after I put the CJ springs in, I should be hitting bottom 11s. Trust me, spray from 3000rpm until about 100 under your normal rev limiter, then raise it just to be safe but maintain the shift points

I was thinking 3000 since I still have the stock converter, just wanted other input, thanks for the feedback

so long as you can hook, the converter should make no difference when you begin to spray. I would highly recommend you get a new, higher stall torque converter, the feel and the 60ft times are DRASTICALLY improved over the stock converter

Whatever happened to testing?

I did some.......didn't go so well. Yeah, I used to spray right out of the hole with the Zex WOT switch, and after many, many n20 passes, it just backfired while I did a dry hop, never did figure out why, so I took off the system and went with a whipple.

Definitely go with a window switch, and start spraying at 3000 like previously mentioned.

HMMM thats when testing sucks right there. I personally think that cowl u have is way to high... heheh sorry couldnt help myself. i would not go below 3000 if You are spraying wet or you will have puddeling issues and pow.... you need air speed to keep that from happening. now if you happen to bog watchout for a backfire,,,
