I had a guy stop me the other day to ask about my car. He started telling me he had a white 2007 GT/CS. He started bragging about it make 450+ at the wheels so I asked him what supercharger/tubro/nitrous set up he had and he told me it's all motor. I asked him what he had done and he only would say it was a stock bore and stroke 3 valve that he had some computer work done. I only know of a couple people who might be close to making that kinda power N/A and it wasn't cheap. I just laughed and told him to bring it to the local track and we'd see who really put power to the ground.

Not to bust your bubble...but there is such a thing as a long rod 306. Not really a stroker. It is a 289 rod with special pistons, and stock 302 crank. They pull almost up to 7k. Back when Fun Ford used to have a class called Trophy Stock, most of the guys were running long rod 306's since it was the max c.i. allowed. These cars ran close to 12:0.1 compression and some cars ran low 11s on motor.
As for needing 42lb injectors he is full of it, 30s are plenty. And the trick flow 170cc heads, they do exist as they are the smallest ones they offer for a ford v8.

I know 170cc trick flows exsist.He told me that the 170cc he had were special and that most trick flow heads were under 100cc.This is what made me laugh the most.Because the stock e7te heads are more than 100cc.

I got a story that might be just as good.....this kid here in SETX just bought this 88 coupe. It's carb'd and has a single plate nitrous kit on it. It is a 347c.i., T5....and he says the car runs 8.80s. I was like WOW, bring it out sometime let me take a look at it. Well last weekend he brought it out, I began scoping it out.
Stock UCA, stock LCA, no cage....and a 215/60/15 size tire immediatley tells me he must have brought the wrong car out. So I asked him why didnt he bring out the 8 second car, and he swears that the car before me was a 8 second car. Then he pops the hood. It had a single plate kit on it, with the small solenoids. Im not sure but I think that only goes up to a 150 or 175 shot with the small solenoids, and he swears it has a 300 on it. So....with his little 215 front runner of a tire....on the back, I called him out.
Pretty embarrassing when I took him to the woodshed in my 13 second 05 GT in front of all his friends. And then the excuses began..... "my nawz wasnt sprayin man!"

I know what your saying. It was just the way he said it.I believe he got that info from somebody who knew what they were talking about.When he said his was a special 306 stroker.The fact that he thought a 170cc trick flow was special and that they normally were a lot smaller under 100cc he said.As far as 13 to 1 compression.He told me he drove it back and forth to work.Now i could be wrong but from everything i know you can't drive that kind of compression on pump gas.There is not a station in my town that carries higher than 93.

No...you can't drive that on pump gas. I dont think you can even drive that without it running hot. When he cranked it up, you would have been able to tell right then if it had 13.1 compression because it would be breathing fire. Those kids are everywhere these days....they have no clue.
