Keep one thing in mind and that's when you are driving hard and going through the gears, you are not dropping down in lower RPM's where those CMCV's are going to help you. IMO having the little bit of extra HP between 5500 and 6500 matters the most in those situations.

I bought a used 2010 intake with Steeda delete plugs for like $125 online. 2010's did not have the CMCV on them.

Correct, they were part of the intake not a bolt on part. The delete plugs filled the holes previously occupied by the cmcv on your intake.
