Currently used for SCCA Rallycross. First built for Drifting. Can be altered for your type of racing.

My next steps was to but 17in all terrain tires on it, do the rwd Scca Rallycross championship, redo the cage, then do stage rally with it

General info.

Salvage Arizona Title. Back left corner panel was hit when the previous owner had it. It bent the rear straight axle. I’ve got it straightened professionally from Dans Driveline w/ axles and C clips replaced.

05 Mustang GT. 160k miles. Black chipped paint with fading stripes. Stripped out interior and sound deadening. Can be registered to be street legal when catalytic converters are added.

Fabrication

Formula Drift Specification built cage. Hydraulic hand brake mount. Front lower bash bar, with UHMWP quarter inch plastic skid plate to protect oil pan. Custom rear dual caliper mount.

Rear differential is welded so fully locked. 4.10 gears

Interior.

Blue Sparco seat, expired I believe. Sparco lower seat mounts, passenger side included with non expired harnesses for driver and passenger. Epman Racing handbrake. Grip Royal Steering wheel, quick release system. All gauges besides the fuel gauge work. Has a Bluetooth radio with two rear deck speakers.

Suspension.

Bilstein HD struts w/ GT500 springs. Steering limiters removed for more angle. Aftermarket Panhard bar, rear upper control arm, rear axles, rear lower control arms.

Engine.

Stock 4.6. Aftermarket intake, two oil catch cans (never pickup oil so low amounts of blow by). Has muffler but has catalytic converter removed. Holley Hydramat installed on the fuel pickup

Comes with 4 black STR wheels 18x9

Cons

Fuel gauge doesn’t work, I think I missed a wire during the hydro mat install

Paint is ehh, chipped from fender rolling, and faded. Looks okay

There’s a strange knocking noise coming from the rear end and I can’t figure it out. It mostly happens when coming from a stop or stopping. I can’t figure out if it’s the suspension, diff, or driveshaft. I tried to install a poly bushing on the upper arm and still knocks. I think it’s something in the suspension

Hand held reflasher stopped working. It’s got a Bama tune on it for the intake and straight pipe, but my handheld tuner stopped letting my switch tunes and use it as a gauge. It’s included, I haven’t contacted Bama about it yet. I believe the handheld just needs to be reset or is missing a folder in its software update

Here’s some videos of it running

Reason for selling

Due to the pandemic I’m not going to be messing with this anymore and can use the money

Shame I'm 7000 miles away, otherwise I'd buy it myself. There are plenty of good parts on it.
