Thanks guys, it was fun. Just wish the track wasnt almost 3 hrs away. I will report on the exhaust leak when i get around to working on the car again. Hopefully it isnt anything serious. I think it is time to throw a new set of plugs in the car too

Well I haven't actually jacked the car up yet and looked under it, but I believe I found my exhaust leak. Its one of those spend the money once or spend the money twice deals:thud:

Wastegate. I think 1eyedwilly was running a Tial 44mm gate and I cheaped out and bought a Godspeed. I kind of figured I would have issues when the clamp for the godspeed didn't fit the v-band flange that he welded to the up pipe. When you buy a gate it comes with the flanges. I just figured that a 44mm gate is a 44mm gate, but the difference in the flanges isn't allowing the gs wg to seat properly and not leak by

^^It is a precision 46mm, which would be why my 44mm gate isnt seating properly and causing a leak. Anyone what a next to new 44mm wastegate?

Now that the engine has just over a 1000miles on it, and what I was started to worry was excessive amounts of oil out the breathers, I decided to pull the plugs today. Go ahead and let me know what you think, but I believe they look good. The only one that may be questionable is cylinder 4, but even it doesn't look bad.

They look good Josh, I notice a lot of vapor coming out of the hood vent right above my breather can.

Not much of an update, but I put the car on a lift this last saturday to try to see if i could make the current wg seal better. It is a little better and i think a different clamp just might fix me up. Another thing i noticed when looking up from the bottom of the car, was the wiring harness is getting a little to warm. I ran it out of the engine bay down in the corner under when the battery tray would normally be, which has it too close to the header. The black tape i had around the wires is melted and missing on the side facing the header, so i will need to get some more heat sheild one of these days.

Got the car out and washed it today. Wanted to take some simple pics for a car show poster I am having made. Just your run-of-the-mill GT, nothing special.

Sub! I love your build, I want mine to be something similar. I love the whole mostly stock look with 742rwhp.

Got these in and mounted today. Hopefully this will help me get my ET to match my trap speeds a little better. Big shout out to JP at ModifyMyStang for the great deal on the racestars!

I think I may have found an issue with the traction problem. I just went out to the car to start putting on the new wheels. The above pics are with the car on an older set of BMR springs. These springs lowered the car much more than I thought that they would. Well I decided to look under the car, and the damn thing is sitting ON the bump stops. I didn't trim them, but should it actually be sitting down on the bump stops? I will get a pic.

Is it just me or do these springs look like they are already compressed the max that they should be? The car has less than a 1/2 a tank of gas in it here.
