that would be it. that thing is huge. ill need lowered motor mounts to get that to fit with the stock hood, and even then it might not cause its made for the GT500 and that hood is a bit taller

Here you go Don, this is what we are doing for Ron's car.
Thanks for the pics.

What are the advantages/disadvantages to this set up?

i think your right nick. it is def bigger than the battery lol. id make the ram air kit with the dryer hose directed right at the underpart of that huge filter. maybe make a shroud to keep the air gonig into the filter and to block the hot engine air

With that air intake set up, I'd be worried about it sucking small children up into the intake!

I was clued in that someone posted on another site we all know of a ram air system that yours truly "developed" over a year ago but I didn't get any credit whatsoever. Well WTF can ya say? I know there are folks on here that will back me up that I was first just for braggin rights (I ain't mad about it--great minds think alike!)!

No way. Who would have done that LOL.

That sucks... Are they also the ones responsible for the word censor? We're not doing it on this end.

No worries mate! Like I said great minds think alike.

You should post your pictures here as well. I like the pipe you use much more than the 3" aluminum stuff I used. I think I will be changing mine out to that 3" drain hose if I can find it.

Also, thanks for the tip on moving the wiring harness. Now that I am not afraid to tackle!
