Hey- I have a 09 ford mustang GT 4.6 v8. I have LT headers, 47lb injectors, hot rod cams, CAI (JLT), 62mm bbk TB. I’m also tuned on e85 and that’s what I’m currently running. I’ve checked for air leaks in intake system and exhaust system. No issues there. I’ve also swapped injectors with brand new ones. I get a p2198 code while idling. I can’t seem to find out why. I’ve talked to my tuner and he said it’s either an exhaust leak or leaking injector. But I’ve tested for both. Both passes even with new injectors. I’ve watched Live Data multiple times and took vids and screenshots of how things are doing. I’ll upload some screenshots of data. I’ve taken vids of how things was going on live data but I can’t upload vids. Someone please help.

Thanks

Ps: I’ve added the pics in order from idle to 3k open throttle. If this doesn’t show enough I can try to upload more. But my fuel trims on bank 2 are way off. It’s taking away a good amount of fuel on that side.

Ps: pic starting from 3-8 are recent pics I just took while letting it idle for a good 10-15 mins. Everything started to look normal the longer the vehicle idled.

I've had this code as well as others when I try anything other than the NGK O2 sensors. Even had issues with the Bosch sensors. Ford currently lists the same replacement part for the front and rear sensors but originally they were different and I think that makes a difference. There are two different NGK sensor part numbers for the front and rear. I can't remember which is which but once I switched to them my codes went away.

+1

Had issues with Bosch’s on my 06. No issues after using NGKs.

Ok I have Bosch exact fit. Maybe I need to try the NGK. Also it started randomly. I noticed it was burning really rich one day and I got a check engine light. I only a system too rich bank 2 code the o2 bias rich code.

I would try swapping to NGKs and see if that resolves your issue.
