If it quits completely then it will shut off, but not all pumps go out that way so it would not be a solution, a big ass pressure referenced warning light would be of help.

In my setup, I have the aeroforce set to lit if deltaP comes below 40psi, having the system set to 50psi and in the current config of injectors and boost, system still works with 40 psi and a little under that pressure so it will lit before it goes lean because of it.

I know autometer has oil pressure warning lights, don't know if there is something configurable to be set at say 40psi with a gas/oil compatible sensor.

So one big pump could still slow before it fails and cause the same issue. Thats what I was thinking.

I have the Autometer oil warning light on my car so I know what you are talking about there. I have a port on my fuel rail for a psi sensor that could be used. I will look into it. I think my Autometer WB has a warning light that can be set but I will have to see if there is a WOT only setting so its not on while cruising.

That brings me to my next question. What if the large single pump goes out under boost, would the car just shut off or would it still lean the cylinders on its way out under 20 psi and still melt everything down?

Billy you are going to scare me. I went with the Magnafuel single pump return for this reason as I had a GT500 pump go out and melt the passenger side of the motor. I did a lot of reading and it pointed to the pump shutting off and the car dropping fuel pressure so fast that it wouldn't go lean. It would just shut off from not having enough fuel pressure.

Looks like I will need a new connector as well as a pump. Now to find one. It is a little scary that something in my fuel tank got this hot and melted!

What about a electric fuel pressure guage in the cab with a warning light for it? If it drops below 40 psi delta pressure then the light comes on and you get out the throttle really fast.

Not enough oxygen in the tank to cause an explosion as the fuel vapors would be o high to ignite. Still not a good thing as you basically had a bomb in the tank.

Which pumps are you using? Walbro GS340?

I have an Autometer elec FP gauge in the car now. I am going to call them and see if they have a warning light setup that can be wired in. I think I feel better being alerted to a fuel pressure issue then a W/B going lean. Under boost if the W/B shows lean it is to late by the time you react to it. If the fuel pressure drops below 40 psi delta and the warning light/alarm goes off there should be time to react and same the motor. I have a ign. kill switch on the dash where the power point used to be that will kill the car very fast with a flip of the switch.

I have no idea if they have a way to "add a light" or not. Also I don't know what gauges you have. I have the Sport Comp IIs in mine and they have warning sensor lights built in to them.

I have the AEM Digital Fuel Pres gauge in my triple pillar. Sadly have not been able to see it work, but believe it has a colored sweep. Don't know if that would give enough warning.

Thanks, I will check into it.

I have a warning switch from NX on the way. It is an adjustable switch from 15 to 50 psi. I will use a bright LED to warn me with the switch. Should work the same as my low oil pressure warning system.

With all these fuel issues on the higher HP cars it kind of makes me glad I can't afford more. Lol

There is something to be said to pass the 550 rwhp mark. Things where fun back then. This is like a second job building it in the garage at the house sometimes.

Good thing is that the new pump is on its way along with a EFI fuel pressure warning switch that will activate an LED in the car to warn me if there is a fuel pressure issue. I decided to stay with the triple pump setup so I can bring in the third pump at 16 psi and keep the fuel temps down. I am also going to activate the over boost feature on the Trueboost.

Here are a few picks from today. I have redone all the vac lines with new line, fitting and all with zip ties on all the barb fitting and have a single line for each component now with no tees. The vac is from the upper drivers front side of the intake now and not the bottom. The fuel lines are done to reconfigure the return setup.

Well, everything is back together! I need to prime the engine tomorrow night, flush the fuel lines and install the fuel pump Fri. The new pump will be here tomorrow and I should be looking to crank it up again on Saturday. Cool thing for me is, this car should sound the way Ive always wanted it to this time with the new Comp 127550 cams and the 3" exhaust with a Procharger howling away in the back ground! I can honestly say this is the most excited I have ever been to start a new motor. Here are a couple pics from tonight. There is one with the bug sprayer priming unit I put together. I connect it at the oil filter relocation on the frame rail and run 1 gal of oil through the motor before starting or cranking over the motor.
