Would be nice if I could read his website! lol. Might be in the market for some tuning with him too. Problem is the local shop is using a DD if that matters to him. My last tune involved a freggin 7hr one way to get tuned, and no guarantee things will always go smooth..

UPDATE

This thread will save a lot of typing.

http://s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85129

While doing the above install, today I noticed that the coils and valve cover on the drivers side along with the delete plates had a dirty film on them. These parts were clean when installed several weeks ago. I have also had a fuel smell and the drivers side bank was reading leaner then the pass. side while tuning. I assumed it was the cams. At this point I am not so sure that was the issue. It appears the gasket between the delete plates and the JPC intake was leaking. I think the bolts that are holding the N2O solenoids are tighter then the small intake bolts and are not letting the gasket seal properly. I plan to use gasket sealer on the JPC gasket when the intake goes back on tomorrow evening and tighten the solenoid bolts after the intake is on. Lets hope this was my bank to bank imbalance. Here are a couple pics of what I am talking about. I had already wiped off the delete plate and the head before I thought to take some pics. I can also move the gasket up and down by hand on the outside of the drivers side with the plates installed.

Just wanted to check in and say, I LOVE MY CAR AGAIN !!!

The road pulls make my hands shake, just the way I like it.

We are at 17 psi on meth and 93 oct with 13 deg of timing and ready to finalize things this week on the pump tune. Stay tuned.

Check the link in the post above. Meth is an awesome thing!

Wont be long and I will start to get some track time!!! Mad props to Lito, this has been a hard one and he just keeps on keepin on! Cant say enough about him. He is even protecting me from myself. LOL :thumb:

Oh ya, 70mutherfuckingK!!!

Congrats man, long time coming.

Great to hear broseph!

Thanks guys.

Cant wait for some videos

I have a short one loading now from yesterday. I am in my swim trunks and all ! First time out with the new Go Pro my kids got me for fathers day. LOL

It was at 17 psi and 13 deg of timing. I wish the Go Pro was on the right setting today so you could have seen my hands shaking after the 17 psi 16-18 deg run. Same as the video coming but, a HELL of a lot faster!!!

All we have to do now is finish the tip in/ tip out stuff this weekend. It is pretty good now, just need to fine tune it some.

WE are setting up to tune with the 3.9 pulley still on the 16 psi WG spring, then race gas at 27 psi (or what ever the 3.9 makes), and finally race gas with the 50 shot. Looking to do that the end of next mo. Till then I will try to put some miles on it and have some fun. I would like to get a track pass in on the current street tune on the 4.3 pulley and then dyno to do the other tunes.

I would love to try to get to the TX. /LA, meet but, this is all happening the same weekend.

I may try to hit a test and tune this weekend if possible or next for sure. I need to get the embarrassing first runs out of the way. LOL

Nice! She's moving for only 17 lbs, going to be sick when you turn it up. Seems like the wastegate setup is working out for ya pretty good then!

I really wish you could have seen the pass today with the timing raised. Shit got real, real fast! LOL

I am still on the 4.1 pulley now. That would be a 24 psi without the WG. I cant wait to try the 3.9 next month! July 25th and 26th will be a very strong test for the motor I have built!

I just hope I did everything right! I would imagine if there was an issue within the motor due to the build I would have seen it by now. With every pull my confidence raises a little bit more in this car. I have about 15 WOT pulls and 400 miles on it now.

Congrats Billy, Its nice to see you enjoying the progress. Your build gives me the inspiration that not cutting corners does pay off in the long run. I know the title of the thread is Going for 800 but since the thread started, has the number changed ?
