you need a different converter I think.
Great runs regardless and with more boost it may end up being just right.

No, just looking at the 60 foot time. I looked up my old 1/8th mile slips and when I was trapping 102mph in the 1/8th I was in the 6.80s with 60's times in the 1.5Xs, and I was in the 6.70s with 60' times in the 1.4Xs @ 102mph......so I guess what I am saying is the potential for 6.70s is there with that mph.
So with 1.7X 60' times, I think your converter is too tight now, but, when you up the boost increasing torque, it may end up being just right as the converter will loosen up when the engine puts out more torque.
Continue to test and when you end up at the boost level that you plan on staying at we could look again at your timeslips.
What wheel/tire set up did you have on for this pass?
RUN SOME REAL drag tires and wheels![]()
Really Billy? an 800rwhp car on DR's 20's????
I am the farthest thing to a drag racing expert but I am sure that this will be a fun ride.
Only 18psi in your tires and they are 20s? With the limited sidewall I would think you are losing some contact in the center of the tire with the pressure that low? Have you done a burnout where you can look at the contact patern? I have to have aboutt 40 psi in my 20"nittos before the burnout doesnt look like its only contacting by the bead on each side
Just to be clear mine are NT05s and not dr but they do need a lot of heat to get any traction
Yea, that is a diferent story.
These are 20 DRs with a 28" dia. and about 12.5" of contact. They are the 305/35/20 Nitto DRs.
